I do not agree with Mr. Greer sending flowers to his girlfriend while he is still legally married even though he is in the process of a divorce. However, when 1800FLOWERS sent a copy of the receipt they broke privacy laws that we have in place. Unfortunately these laws not only protect people for good reasons they are to protect everyone. We are not at liberty to decide that it is ok to break privacy laws just because they are cheating on thier spouse.

    Robin,
It sure is good to see you this morning. I personally know what you are going thru, myself in October will be five years since I was diagnosed. My story is different because Breast Cancer Saved my Life. I was in an Abusive Marriage, and after my first Chemo treatment I was asked for a divorce. That finally happened in May 2005, I registered for College for the fall went to one class then Katrina hit. I have grown so much since 10/2002, and have gained faith that I would have never found. I linve in Long Beach Mississippi and would like to offer you to give me a call when you come to town 228-223-7902, I would like you to meet the one person I learned I could count on. I will be published again in the Sea Coast Echo and Sun Herald this October celebrating 5 years. I wish you the BEST, BECAUSE WOMEN LIKE US ARE VERY SPECIAL PEOPLE AND WE CARE A GIFT OF MESSAGE AND FAITH.

Love Always A Breast Cancer Sister,

I’m responding to the man who GMA reported on this morning as protesting his taxes by paying $12,000 in one dollar bills. Are you kidding reporting this article? I work for the Bensalem, PA tax collector’s office and the only person this man is screwing is me and the other girls who work with me and the people behind him in line, who also have to pay their taxes, with limited time. The man really needs to get a set of #$%*s and attend, with as many friends as he can gather, the meetings in his township where the taxes are decided upon. He should also make his township accountable for their taxes. We, who pay our taxes as well, collect the taxes behind a bullet proof window and deal with people like him everyday. Tell this man to grow up. Why don’t you,GMA, go to the person who had to collect the money and hear their response? It’s easy to take it out on the teller, “Big, Brave Guy”! Please GMA say something to help us girls who work hard for a living and for the “seniors” at the back of the line. I really think this was irresponsible reporting. Thanks for your time and attention. Donna.

    Robin,

After putting off taking care of something for a year I finally decided after hearing your news to take charge of my own health. Today I was diagnosised with skin cancer of the ear, only because of hearing your testimony did I decide this was something I could no longer put off for my own health. I know it’s not breast cancer and my thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this, please know that you were my inspiration to take charge of my self and stop putting off what I should have done months ago. Please if there’s any way let people out there know that even at our age skin cancer can happen, people forget to apply the sunscreen to the ears as well as the face and that’s what happened to me, we also throw on a ball cap to keep the sun off our faces and forget our ears again. Please let others know that like the doctor told me today, every part of our body including our ears should have sun screen applied. I will be going through my surgery on September the 4th. God Bless you Robin all my thoughts and prayers are with you, you are an angel to so many of us that have ignore ourselves till now. Many Thanks for waking us all up!

    God Bless,
    Mel

This message if for Robin, I know a great book written by a lady from our church who survives breast cancer. It is called life after chemo and is a great story for anyone to read who is going through what you are. It is not just another book about chemo it is about life and the effect what you are going through has on your friend and family as well as alternative ways of healing all of you

    Hi,

This letter is for Robin Roberts. I’ve wanted to say that yo are in my prayers and just wanted to give you encouraging words of wisdom and survivorship. For I am a breat cancaer survivor of 11 years. I found my lump by doing my self breast exam, which I would do every month. I encourage women to be aware of their bodies. I had chemo too. I am the first in my family, for my mom is 91 years and never had any problems like that.

I am a A.A. women and I now wokr in the community as an outreach educator for the Connecticut Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, Ct. . I also do recite poems about breast cancer.

I would love to be on Good Morning America just to share my story and my poems to your audience. And tell them that early detection is key!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i look forward to hearing from you.

    lOVE,

    Barbara Smith

I can relay to all those people that they can’t get medical help. I don’t have any income. I live with a friend and he helps me out. I have Diabetic really bad, high blood pressure, am going thru Menopause,I have hepitaics C, plus depression. I went thru all indgent programs in San Antonio, Tx. since the city I live in they don’t have no help and I was denied. And while I was there I saw lot’s of people from Mexico especially get help so quick that it makes you sick. What can a USA citizen do to get help?

JUST WANTED TO COMMENT ON THE PIECE DONE BY MRS WOODRUFF AND ROBIN. MY HUSBAND LOST HIS BATTLE WITH LIVER CANCER 7YEARS AGO, BUT WE FOUGHT HARD FOR APPROX 2YRS. HE WAS A FIREMAN, SCOUT LEADER, AND EMT IN OUR TOWN, SO WE HAD TONS OF PEOPLE PULLING FOR US. I TRIED TO REMEMBER EVERY HUG, EVERYTHING THAT WAS DONE FOR US, AND APPRECIATED EVERYTHING SO MUCH, BUT IT WAS EXHAUSTING. I THING THIS SEGMENT WAS VERY ENLIGHTING ON WHAT A PERSON CAN DO FOR FOLKS TO SHOW THEY CARE. ONE THING A GIRL THAT I WORK WITH DID, GAVE ME A 20.OO BILL , AND I WAS RELUNCTANT TO TAKE IT, CAUSE 20.00 IS A LOT TO ME BUT SHE MADE ME PROMISE TO PASS IT ON SOMEDAY. SINCE THEN I HAVE ENCOUNTERED SEVERAL PEOPLE IN OUR SITUATION AND I ALSO WORK AT THE HOSPITAL, AND HAVE BEEN ABLE TO PASS IT ON. ALL HAVE BEEN RELUNTANT LIKE ME, BUT WE LIVE IN SMALL TOWN AND SOMETIMES OUR PATIENTS HAVE TO BE TRANSFERED, SO I JUST TELL THEM TO TUCK IT AWAY, CAUSE THEY MIGHT NEED A COKE OR SOMETHING. I HAVE BEEN GRATEFUL TO THE GIRL THAT DID THIS FOR ME, AS I ENJOYING BEING ABLE TO PASS IT ON TO THOSE IN A SITUATION, AS I HAVE BEEN THERE. ROBIN BEST WISHES TO YOU AND THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PROGRAM. I WORK FULL TIME SO RARELY GET TO CATCH IT, BUT WHEN I DO I LOVE IT. SUSIE , FROM RICHMOND MO/

Did the producers not grasp the irony in the best burgers segment Aug 17th? All three recipes featured, and especially the winning one, were indicative of the reasons Americans are obese and dying of cancer and heart disease, and colon cancer. On your program alone, there are Robin, Joel and your interviewee Star Jones who have been affected by the fats and red meats so prevalent in our diets today. I could not fathom that a mother believes a beef burger filled with bacon and cheese, covered with a sauce made with high fructose corn syrup would be good for her and her children because it had a few onions, classified as vegetables, on it. French fries are, as are any fried foods, full of carcinogens, and yet Emeril was shown shot after shot shoving fries into his mouth. A great program such as yours must be responsible to the Americans whose homes it reaches, especially in health issues, and especially those issues which have affected your own staff. How much better it would have been to feature the best “alternative” burger and bun, safe for all us, and yet tasty.
