I am a big fan of GMA. I watch every morning to start my day. I love Diane and Robin and the guys. But I felt very strongly that when talking about a certain religion, one should have the facts straight. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints ( Mormon’s) did away with polygamy in 1890. Anyone caught practicing polygamy after that time was excommunicated from the church. There are 11 million, and growing, Mormon’s worldwide, who no doubt get upset like I do when a non-mormon refers to a polygamist as being part of them. Please clarify to the nation the true facts. There are many people listening who will believe what you say. We count on you to tell us the truth. And in all fairness, you owe it to the Mormon’s.

I would love to have something like this to happen for my family. We have been under so much stress with my inlaws, one of them is in a nursing home and the other one is in las vegas coming back home to try to live by himself. I know this is going to be very hard on us but I just wish I could get a vacation of a lifetime just to be able to get away and relax.

    To:Robin Roberts
As a breast cancer survivor (5 years), I can really empathize with what you are and will be going through. I wanted to give you a hint about chemo. They will tell you that when you eat, you will get a metalic taste in your mouth. This may lead to mouth sores. I was told early that to just use plastic dinner ware to eat(when you can!). I got rid of it right away and it never came back. Hope it works for you!
Thanks and I will be praying for you…..

I heard the story on the little boy who needed a wheelchair, and his insurance company would not pay for it. I am not a person who feels lawsuits are the answer to everything. But, I am thankful that the legal system exists, because now is the time to file a suit. As a potential juror, this is just the kind of case I would love to “sink my teeth into.” I would make sure the company paid for the $23,000 wheelchair, and any future wheelchairs the child will need. Then, I would punitively punish the company and award the family as much money as possible under the law, and make it incredibly painful for them to “cheat” people by using vague language and deceptive business practices. As a person who owns stock in many companies, I feel it is imperative for businesses in America today to worry less about making me money, and worry more about running their company in a MORALLY, ETHICAL manner, and Assurant is neither moral nor ethical in the handling of their business.

You guys are great! It’s a pleasure watching you every morning. But this mornng was halarious. Anita Renfro brought laughter and tears to my eyes. she was great! Brought back lots of memories. My children are ages 28, 26, 24, 21 and 21. I wish I had had her song when they were growing up. I would have played it everyday instead of having to repeat it over and over. I went out this morning to try and purchase it. Where can I get one and also, do you think you could ask her to do one for “mothers-in-laws”, two of our boys are getting married this coming Spring within two months of each other. I think all “brides” would get a good laugh over it too. Julie Sannicandro, Merritt Island, FL

I would like to just say generally that Chris Cuomo is a terrific addition to GMA. I appreciate his journalism style. He is so sincere and very family oriented. Of course, I love Diane and Robin and I am praying for Robin. It seems this terrible disease touches everyone in some way. I have three friends that are affected by cancer and one with breast cancer. Robin is just so strong. I am looking forward to the day she announces that she is cancer free.

Thank you everyone for your wonderful variety of stories.

The less than perfect eye glass distributions by Target, Lenscrafters and other stores was of particular interest to me as I am part of a team who recommends benefits to our non-profit agency. It was on your Monday November 5, show. All the subscribers that you mentioned are on our “recommended list” as a “valvued vendor”. Could you post that artical again as I wish to warn our employees about it.

    Thank you.

Also, Robin-I am not a Cancer survivor but I am “surviving Cancer”. (Twice in the last five years). I like the term “surviving” better and will pray for you as I know it is a scary time for you. Take Care.

I think it is criminal that AIG is spending tax payers money on lavish hotels and trips. If the ordinary person has financial difficulties we have to find a way to adjust . If we plan a vacation and the automobile we drive breaks down we don’t get to go on that vacation, we fix the automoble with the vacation money. They need to know they will be held accountable for unnessessary spending . In my opinion the so called executives should have to pay back every dime spent on these outings out of their own pockets . The average american gets very little if any help, and we always have to flip the bill. It’s high time the rich man pays the band and the poor man gets to dance !!!
