I have no idea what I am doing as I am not computer literate so don’t know if this will reach anyone. I am writing for all the thousands of people out here with no computers so can’t just jump ON LINE to see the stories you never finish, or the recipies or the contests, etc. That is a good story for you to do, all the low income people who can’t afford a computer, all the senior citizens that don’t know how to operate them even if they could afford them. this in regards to the credit card story. People should be respondsible for their debt. But the outrageous charges are nothing more than what orginized crime was prosecuted for back in the 20’s and 30’s, and was against the law. So when did these practices become legal? When did 23% interest become less than strong arming people who can least afford it. This is nothing more than legalize servitude, with no way out. Legalized slavery?

I was curious if anyone had seen the episode this morning about the service Dogs and Autism? I have 2 Autistic Children.. Does anyone agree with me that this could be more harm than good? We all know pets do Die
and when the pet does pass you are going to have an older Child going through way much more aggression and confusion..Thats my view anyway These kids don’t understand death…They just react from someone not being there.. I know because when i lost my fiance my Son went Wild it was bad before but even worse after he was gone…He is 15 almost 16 now and in a training facility doing well so far.
We do have pets at home and i have to tell you with my son who is Severe he was 4 at the time and I had an old dog and he would pull her tail or hair to hear her scream and laugh from the noise of her cry.. I felt so bad for her because he was so fast at doing it I couldn’t always catch him…I’m not sure it’s a good ideal for either…My Boy likes to control noise that makes him happy he himself not realizing he was causing her pain, it is the Noise he cannot control that makes him angry like the dog barking, or growling, and he was a mini TAZ through the house throwing dishes and tv’s or ripping pictures off the wall or attacking me for it..
On the other hand my daughter is 7 with Asperger’s a twin whose twin is not Autistic..She screams if a cat gets in her room like an alarm going off and just freezes in place until you get it out of her room she just does not like cats although once in a while she will pet the dog or talk to her..But it’s a very rare thing. I worry about the effect on her if the dog is one day gone because she seems to halfway care about it..
We have lost a cat from illness back in October and this had no effect on her there was no emotion at all on her face when i told her the cat had died and she never cried it was just as if Oh Well?…But as i said she did not like cat’s..So that leave’s me to question myself? I am on both sides of the spectrum with my kids and i’ve seen the effect of a death with my son and her father which she was only 1 then and did not get to have the 9 years invested that he did..
I realize that all Autistic kids are different but they are the same in alot of ways seeing both sides of the spectrum the good and the bad…My son is Severe and my daughter is Aspergers doing exceeding well in first grade doing 3rd and 4th grade things she cannot take in enough information since she started talking again about 4 years ago..She can tell you what time it is without a clock in sight! or a date you did something she thought was funny and the year she just has the need to i guess say store information it’s like she has this built in filing system…And i guess i just worry that the death of a dog may make her regress i just don’t know..

More power too you. You must be a very strong person too handle your household. About your dog being tormented by your son, Remove the dog now from the house. Neither child needs too abuse it. That is whats happening. You also said autistic children don’t really understand death, so why did you tell your daughter that a cat died. —————Your ansewer too your main question- are animals good or bad for autistic children? I lived with a gal who had a autistic 5-year daughter, she had a dog an a cat. She loves the dog not the cat. This women plans on getting another dog before the other one dies off someday. That will make things easier. I personally don’t think autistic children get attached too pets.

I watched this morning & was soo touched with Robin revealing she no longer would wear her wig & cried my eyes out. My Mom pasted away 10 years ago from lung cancer & you never forget. Robin, when my Mom was going to have her treatments I took her to a salon & bought her a wig & lots of turbin’s so we could match her hair color. 2 wks into her treatments one morning she was in the shower & she started screaming & crying, I rushed into the bathroom & opened the curtain to find her covered in hair, all over her face, I was soo upset but needed to stay calm for her, so got her rinsed off & wrapped a towel around her head & just kept talking to her & got her calmed down, but I knew when I took that towel off it was going to be very very emotional for her, so I told her I was going to shave her head so this would not happen again & she agreed. She was such a strong woman, I was trying my hardest to be strong, as I sit here typing this crying like a baby!!! I removed the towel, would not let her see it & began shaving away, it was very emotional for both of us, but I just kept saying how beautiful she will look. I didn’t cry at that point, just kept being positive with her as I knew how she must have felt. After all said & done, she did look beautiful & as we both looked in the mirror we BOTH just hugged & cried together, it was a very emotional moment. That was 10 years ago & you never forget, I just wish I had her to hug & cry with today.You are a very beautful woman & you continue to help people dealing with cancer. Your a inspiration to me & was so glad I saw the show today, I had a great talk with my Mom as I sat their remembering, even though it wasn’t a pleasant thing to remember, but it is a MEMORY. Mon June,16 2008 Waching todays show was horrific,in the Charoll Manson case.Isaw the women whom was interview by you Dian.Just seeing the court trial and watching her interview was very hard to watch.I strongly believe ,that what the women did what she said to her victam about not haveing remours for her nore her inasant child is a perfect example of how know one should have remource for her.I storngly believe that her victums donot have another chance at life and nither should she.I believe that she thinks the time she has done has madr up for the horribsl things she has done.Ithink she is a very sick person.I believe she was infact brain washed and is today is now to brain washing her peers in that instutution she now calls home.I honestly do believe she should live out her dying days were she is.Ibelieve if she was truly sorry for the things she has done she would under stand that that is were she belongs.Her victums will nerer and be free or ther familys.I honestly think her only way out of prison should be the death penalty.The chance on no life witch was the option she gave her victums.

Diane is not a good interviewer. she talks into her chest. She starts out strong most of the time then by the middle of the interview she is mumbling and talking so low that it is hard to hear her. Chris does the same thing. Robin is the best interviewer there. She is especially good

I have been listening, for several months about how all sorts of people are having hard times making ends meet and cant find jobs,are loseing their homes,horrible horrible things going on in our country. Let me tell you about a group of us in another boat, that are as desperate as so many others. I am a 60+ Grandmother with full Guardienship of 5 grandchildren. I have multi medical conditions that prevent me from working, although my kids are much better off with me at home. I drive about 100miles per week to have them in a school system that has a smaller student body and more time and concern to give my children the extra help they need. Ive had my kids in coulseing for the past 5 years too,and we are finally making headway. They are finally able to trust me to be here for them always. Now as I have said Im unable to work.My house was almost in forclouser and my husband and I filed bankruptcy. We were living on his pention from GM and his SSI my SSI and a small grant from our state assistant program oh one of the parents Im forced to deal with does pay child support which I turned over to the state and the state gives me the first $50- each month that he pays. Now if I were not related to my children I could draw foster care monies for these children,as their relative I can only get Personal Needs money–$735- per month. Now my husband walked out Oct.1,2008 I am now living on less than $1200-per month.Can any one tell me there is help for myself and other Grandparents like myself and many others who are raising our next generation.Not just my next generation,YOURS too. I know I have more than some,but when our goverenment seems so intent on feeding and providing medical assitance to the 3rd world countries and balling out courpert America when is it time to look with in and take care of our own.GRANDMA can do a lot but not always the extras like an ice cream or a trip to the pool on a real hot day.PLEASE YOU TELL ME>

Watched your segment this morning(11/12/08)about Children and teens with ASD. How can I find out more about this. my 11 yr old son is diagnosed w/this disorder and he struggles with social interaction. He does not have any friends he regularly plays, and when he does they do not last long. He also has problems with obsessiveness, repeating things over and over again. Lots of people and loud noises can trigger his aggressive problems.

I would like to see GMA do a segment on one of the problems facing Americans concerning refinancing. Everywhere you look refinancing is being advertised and forclosure’s are being talked about. Currently we are passing a stimulas bill that is sapose to help Americans with refinancing, but nowhere do I see real help that will help stop foreclosures. the only help I cqan find is if you are in, or are about to be in forclosure. With the current mortgage rates dropping people who are trying to refinance, that have good credit or are still workiong are unable to get a lower interest rate because the value of their homes have fallen below what they owe on their primary mortgage, so therefore they do not qualify for refinancing. If people could refinance their current mortgage and save 1 to 2% interest it would put more money into their budget and allow them to put that money back into the economy. Currently I have been unable to find this kind of help and it seems it would be more feasible than putting 20 doallors back into thier take home pay.(A provision of the stimulas package with tax break). the only reason I can see this not happening is because the banks would have to take a smaller profit as they would not be getting as much from interest.
I would really like to see this topic addressed and feel I have alot of input. Thank you

Please don’t blame the Pepsi Co. for the irresponsibility of the families who BUY their product and drink it to extreme!! They do have a CHOICE and are making a poor one. Also, what school allows the children to keep a soda at their desk all day to drink? Do they not have any common sense? Juice would have the same effect if someone was to drink it all day long every 15 minutes. Pepsi does offer a diet Mt. Dew. There are many people who drink Mt. Dew who don’t have rotten teeth-I am friends with many.

I’ve been in the event industry for 38+ years and have observed more than my share of ‘the devil wears prada,’ in a variety of ways. In my youth it was important to ’suck it up’ and keep our mouths shut, afterall you can be replaced, is the attitude. After all these years, my health has deteriorated. I hope I can live to reach retirement, but I wonder if I’ll make it, afterall.

Dr. Timothy Johnson, Please,My name is Lee. Y wife have been marries to each other for 38 years I make this a point only for a future reference if you should need it. Our first born son at the age 3and a half started to have strange episodes of behavor that really scared us a mother and father of 20 and 25 years old, he would all of sudden would stop what he was doing and stand still like a statue and fall stiff like a board. He was born nornal with no signs of anything being wrong developmenty. Up to this point he was real active, and after this and other episodes he would seem perfectly nornal. Our family doctor at this time sent to Dallas Chiderns Hospital in Dallas, Texas. We stayed there with our son for a period of one week as they did what test they had at the time 35 years ago. They found a tilt heart and not much of anything else they did say they felt like our son may have a rare form of Epiletse, they put him on femibalbetol for a year and told us me might grow out it and he might not. We did not have and money or insurance to cover the other tests . So we have suffer through for over 35 years trying to talk any doctor about this to no avail our son is 36 yeras old now and went thru school in SLD classes for 12 years. got his diploma and has tried to work and has 4 jobs in his short career. He does not have a drivers license and this keeps him from getting a lot of jobs and he can not advance on the jobs he does get. You say this does not sound so bad well you see I hvae not told you the whole story. Every since this problem started 32 years ago our son will have periods without warning when he standing, setting, walking, talking will stop as if you have turned out a light out and with a grazed eyed stair just stand there you can shout , scream, blow a horn for a period of 10 to 30 seconds he will not hear you or know what is going on. He flusrated real easy because it is real hard for him to explian what is going on in his mind and it has given him real problems with his brothers and sisters all his and others who think is faking or playing a game and other who thinks he is just retarded. He does test real low on the test. I have tried with any success all my life to help him . My wife and I have no Insurance witch will pay for the tests he needs. And some times the problem seems worse, It hurts so much to not be able to help him when he is hurting scared to death because he does not know what is happening to him. So in the name of God I beg you and Good Morning America, Please Help my so for I can not, All I can do is love him that is a lot but it is not enough. Thank You and God Bless You . Concerning names of AIG bonus receipents. These should not be disclosed. There are too many hotheads out there who want some kind of revenge. The families of these people are not to blame for what an organization has done. People want to find out their addresses so they can picket and have tours around their homes. We must remember that they are human beings like us with families. Congress just want to look good for the people no matter what. How would they like to in their shoes?

This morning Chris and Robin were dancing and Chris made a remark that he looked like he was having a seigure… That sorry remark hit home with me. My son, who is 30 yrs. old, was born with eplisy. He has had seigures all of his life. How dare he make an off color remark like that. I have been a viewer of Good Morning America since its beginning, but now I believe I will change networks!How dare Chris be so insenitive about such a horrible illness. Maybe he feels like he is from a better family or his family is beyond having a baby born with such an illness. God Bless your children, because they really need it with a father like Chris. I am tired of hearing about Michael Jackson and all this drug use, if this was an orinary american human being there would not have been this much news coverage, Why cant’t they just leave the family alone and let them grieve in peace. I changed the channel this morning, I have Direct TV and put on the satellite radio stations to get away from all this BS. Like I said if this was an ordinary person there would not have been all this coverage.

I just wonder what was really going on with Chris Brown when this situation happened with Rihanna. There have been rumors about Chris taking steroids in order to bulk up and we all know that steroids can alter the way we react to things and our reaction time. I just want to know if that could have been an issue with him during the time of the Rihanna insident. I love Chris and Rihanna and even if steroids aren’t the issue I believe that none of us is in a position to judge another person. When the incident happened to the wrestler in Georgia who was on steroids and killed his family the police went after the doctor and no one went after the wrestler. If we can forgive that, then surely we can forgive Chris Brown.

I just wanted to comment about the Wescott story. We have also adopted 3 kids and our son tried burning down our house he was burning pillows toys his bed the netting from a playpen pouring bleach on furniture hiding his urine in a bottle in his room stealing money cell phones and the last straw was when he tried to drown our grandaughter and he is 9 now but he started doing all of this since he was 7 he has been put in alliance and now hes in a program in jackson Ms. His own sisters dont want him to come.
